Polis

Polis Villas
The resort town of Polis overlooks the beautiful Chrysochou Bay with its charming fishing refuge of Latchi. Cradled by rugged mountains, centred in the Chrysochous Bay and surrounded by a patchwork of citrus groves and vineyards, the sleepy town of Polis has managed to doze through the property boom that's transformed much of the south coast. The town's whitewashed sugar cube houses, plump Orthodox Church domes and shady courtyards are a reminder of a Cyprus that's fast disappearing and much of Polis' charm lies in watching local life tick slowly by.
Polis is centred round a paved plaza that hosts a colourful daily market showcasing the best local produce. At sunset the market stalls are replaced with restaurant tables piled high with delicious platefuls of meze and fresh local fish, creating a true Cypriot atmosphere that gives you an appetite for the real Cyprus.
The nearby Akamas Peninsular is an untouched wilderness laced with hiking trails and secluded coves, an area reserved for conservation and of great natural interest. Off shore the waters are a glassy mosaic of greens and blues that promise some of the best snorkelling and diving on the island.
Polis is an ideal base for exploration of the interesting surrounding area, discovering small Byzantine churches and Monastery, relaxing on unspoilt beaches or wiling away time in sleepy tavernas and cafes.

Goudi Village

Goudi is situated in the valley of Chrysochous , just a five minute drive from either the popular resort of Polis or the traditional fishing village of Latchi. Without any doubt, Goudi is a truly beautiful village, divided by the river Tzerepis, which constitutes the frontier between the modern and the traditional community. A picturesque stone-made bridge is the point where the two sides of the village meet. The ancient church is dedicated to Saint George and was restored in 1927. The village is historically known for producing olive oil and the traditional oil-presses of the village are still functional for those who want to use it. A tour of this charming village will allow you to discover many aspects of the habitants’ way of life and also of its history and culture. We have 2 villas in Goudi Village.

Latchi

Situated between Polis and The Baths of Aphrodite, this is rather more a delightful collection of fishing tavernas and tourist shops rather than a village. A tranquil, relaxing place to come to for freshly caught fish at a waterside restaurant after a walk in the peaceful Akamas or a swim at one of the nearby sand and shingle beaches. At the Baths of Aphrodite, a legendary beauty spot, Aphrodite, according to myth, would take her beauty bathes in the pool of this natural grotto. The small fishing harbour of Latchi is another place worth visiting and also provides the area and Cyprus with a daily supply of fresh fish. We have 3 villas in Latchi.

Peristerona

Peristerona is a traditional and characteristic village, located on the foothills of the famous Troodos Mountains. This lush area, lined with olive trees, wild flowers, herbs and fruit trees is commended for its efforts to maintain the beauty and traditions of Cyprus. The surrounding countryside has a friendly, romantic feel to it and the area is popular with nature photographers. In each direction there is a spectacular backdrop such as the Akamas Peninsula, the Evretou Dam and even the sparkling sea in the distance. The village also has a selection of traditional churches and a museum with an impressive collection of metalwork art, embroideries and woodcarvings. We have 4 villas in Peristerona.
