Tenerife

Tenerife Villas
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and certainly has the most varied landscapes, from a mountain range with a mighty volcanic crater with a diameter of 20 kilometres and the 3,718 metre peak of Mount Teide at its centre to surprisingly fertile valleys with vast banana and tomato plantations, to it’s coastlines which vary from dramatic shear cliffs to stretches of beautiful wide beaches some of which are golden and others black volcanic sand and year round sunshine.

There is no shortage of things to do and see in Tenerife starting with Mount Teide. This dormant Volcano effectively splits the island in two and is snow capped in the winter and marks the island with its unique silhouette. A cable-car takes visitors up to just under it’s peak and on clear days you have fantastic views over to Gran Canaria.
The capital of the island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is a cosmopolitan, modern city with a large harbour which is visited by cruise ships throughout the year. Shopping opportunities are endless here and near the city centre, there are two popular beaches; Las Teresitas and Las Gaviotas. The carnival in Tenerife is held here, normally around February and is said to be second only to that of Rio. The floats, fabulous costumes and dancing troupes of the Grand Parade coupled with the gorgeous girls, stunning costumes, marching bands, music and happy mayhem make for a spectacular treat.
The island really does have something for everyone. Regardless of your age you will be fascinated by Loro Parque, originally a Parrot Park, it has now grown into Tenerife's second biggest attraction after Mount Teide.
Costa Adeje, located in the south west of Tenerife is considered the more upmarket part of the southern coastline and includes the areas Puerto Colon, Torviscas, Fanabe, Playa del Duque and La Caleta. It boasts the Costa Adeje Golf Course opened in 1998 which has rapidly become one of the most popular courses in Tenerife. This coastline is dotted with prestigious hotels, apartments and elegant villas as well as the marina at Puerto Colon and fashionable Fanabe with numerous bars, restaurants and designer shops.
The water park located not far from Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas is a focal point for sun seekers and water babes. There you’ll find a Dolphin show, Dolphin lake, children's area and the most amazing assortment of water rides and slides, pools, sun bed areas and restaurants, shops and snack bars. The fun continues in the sea with jet skis, sailing scuba diving, surfing, water ski, jetski, sailing, whale safari and now there is even a full submersible submarine.
Tenerife really is a holiday destination that has it all.
